Es decir, los servicios son un ejemplo de bienes econ\u00f3micos intangibles. La prestaci\u00f3n de servicios suele ser una actividad econ\u00f3mica en la que el comprador no obtiene generalmente, salvo por contrato exclusivo, la propiedad exclusiva de la cosa adquirida. Los beneficios de un servicio de este tipo, si tienen un precio, se consideran evidentes en la disposici\u00f3n del comprador a pagar por \u00e9l. Los servicios p\u00fablicos son aquellos que la sociedad (Estado naci\u00f3n, uni\u00f3n fiscal, regional) en su conjunto paga, a trav\u00e9s de impuestos y otros medios. Al componer y orquestar el nivel apropiado de recursos, habilidad, ingenio y experiencia para efectuar beneficios espec\u00edficos para los consumidores de servicios, los proveedores de servicios participan en una econom\u00eda sin las restricciones de llevar inventario (existencias) o la necesidad de preocuparse por materias primas voluminosas.
